Group classes

Gym Espace Forme offers you a varied weekly schedule of group classes with our certified trainers. All our Gym memberships and some of our Tennis memberships give you full access to our group classes. Reserved exclusively for our members.

Group classes descriptions

Spinning

Stationary bike training is very effective in developing cardiovascular capacity. The low impact on the joints makes the exercise safe. The class takes place in a stimulating environment with upbeat music.

Dynamic Stretching

Alternating static stretching and mobility exercises. The aim is to improve flexibility, stability, and take a moment to relax.

Pilates

Mat Pilates is a gentle method that focuses on flexibility, strength and muscular endurance. The exercises strengthen deep muscles, improve posture and promote body balance.

Circuit Training

A dynamic circuit combining upper and lower body, cardio and abdominal exercises. Each station is designed to allow you to choose your own intensity level, making it perfect for all fitness levels and personal goals.

Espace Forme Run Club

Join our run club for friendly outings of 5 km or around 30 minutes around the tennis club area. For gym members looking for a running community. Open to all levels, this weekly class promotes health, performance, socializing and discovering the Nuns' Island area.

Zumba

A complete workout combining cardio, strength and flexibility to festive rhythms. Inspired by Latin, African and international dances.

TRX

Training using TRX (suspension training equipment). Improves endurance and strength.

Cardio Tonus

Interval training combining cardiovascular exercise and strength training. Use of a variety of equipment for a complete workout and optimum results.

Bootcamp

A complete circuit workout to develop strength and fitness through a variety of intensity-controlled exercises.

Senior Gym

For a complete and fun workout based on balance, coordination and muscle toning.

Full Body Strength

Complete strength training targeting all muscle groups, using a variety of equipment.

Yoga Flow

Dynamic yoga practice in which each posture is synchronized with the breath. This class aims to improve posture, coordination, balance, strength and muscular endurance through a sequence of postures.

HIIT

High intensity interval training.  Interval training allows for a maximum effort followed by a rest period. The program combines strength training and cardio.

A course may be cancelled if the minimum number of 5 participants is not reached on a regular basis.
